About Kirk.

Hi, I’m Kirk.
I have an amazing wife and her name is Sarah. She’s my best friend and I adore her more every day. We live just outside of Charlotte in a town called Cramerton. It’s a small town, but it’s perfect for us and we couldn’t be doing life with any better community. No, we do not have children yet (even with our moms begging us to change that) but we do have a goldendoodle named Oliver and he’s the best.

I’m a personality type 7 on the enneagram…where are my 7’s at? My hobbies and interests include watching college football (go Tigers!), art, vinyl records, good coffee, music, and drawing things on my computer. Yes, I still consider graphic design a hobby; I love what I do. I’m a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and love sharing His grace and mercies with people.

In 2015, after getting my Bachelor of Arts degree at North Greenville University (#weareNGU), I officially started KB Creative. Even though I have been designing since I was a child, I finally decided to take my passion and skills to the public. In just three short years, I’ve had the pleasure of winning multiple awards having been voted Best of Charlotte by Thumbtack.com for both 2016 and 2017. Growing KB Creative has given me the opportunity to work on some far-ranging and amazing projects. I’ve worked with over 25 non-profit groups for design and rebranding, including Charlotte Crime Stoppers, Gaston County Board of Elections, Acts29 Network, and SIM International. I handled all marketing aspects of a successful capital campaign called the Restoration Project in Belmont, NC, from the creation of the logo and branding to all printed and online materials, as well as social media promotion. From Charlotte, NC, to Simi Valley, CA, I’ve worked with businesses and corporations all over the United States. I have also had the opportunity of speaking at conferences, churches, and businesses all over sharing my experience with design, marketing, church communications, and what I’ve learned along the way. I love hearing my clients stories, but what I enjoy more is helping tell them.
You can tell a lot about someone and their personality by what they intake.
Here are a few of my favorite books and music albums.

Thanks for taking the time to contact me. Please send me some information on your project so I can determine how to best help you. After a few emails to confirm I’m a good fit, we’ll schedule a quick phone call to review the project and get started.
